In recent years, harmful, powerful storms have hit the US – leaving a path of damage and destruction behind. Back in 2011, hurricane Irene swept through New York city where people were told to please stay inside. Anders Lindén caught the almost empty streets where only a few yellow taxicabs braved the harsh conditions. In the city that never sleeps, some people still need to move around even when told they should not.
After studying photography and graphic design in Sweden and the US in the late 90’s Anders Lindén worked as a freelance press photographer. He then expanded his line of work to include fashion photography and commercial photography. Lindén is currently based in Stockholm, Sweden, where he shoots for both Swedish and international clients.
